Then I primed and painted it. Still need to wax and possibly embellish it. Plus I need to add another shelf and overhead lighting.
My other big projects are for my bedroom, this makeover started before the bathroom. How many projects do you keep going at one time. lol I've had this little antique dresser for about 10yrs, a gift from a neighbor who was moving. She refurbished and sold antiques for a living. It's solid oak and I had intended to refinish in a medium dark stain, it was already painted white when she gave it to me, but once my health got worse I opted for an easier way. I'm thinking turquoise, jade and pearl white combo or maybe two-tone pink; what do you think? Check out my bedroom and let me know what you think, okay.

but works much better in the bedroom. There will be 2 shelves in the top and one in the bottom half. Great storage.

ReplyDeleteBarbe,
ReplyDeleteThank you for another feature - you are spoiling me with all your compliments. The chalkboard message center is proudly wearing its button. I love what you did with the cabinet. Taking the slats out and replacing with glass was a great idea. I love that dresser. I vote for sea shell pink or turquoise - maybe even both!
