WELCOME

WELCOME!

So . . ., you've finally found the perfect place, lots of storage, nice size rooms, all the extra amenities. But, then you're told "no painting and no making holes in the walls"! You feel all your decorating plans going out the window. What can you do to make the space your own.

Well don't despair. There are many ways to get around the restrictions and limitations and I am here to share the ways I've overcome them over the past 18yrs.

I hope you enjoy my tips and will also share your own. I'll also be sharing some of my on going projects. Once again . . .
WELCOME!!!

Old Projects

I thought I'd show photos of some of my old projects: the good, the bad, and yes . . .  the ugly! LOL!!!  As you'll notice, I moved the furniture around a lot!  Therefore, I can't be sure I have these in correct order .
Round 1:  These next three are the only pics I could find which show what my first wallpaper looked like.  I only had it on one wall with the border on the others.

The pics below show the wall painted with just a border.  These above show the walls with wallpaper, I used to be a wallpaper addict and had started a side business in it.

I inherited this couch from my mom.  Unfortunately,  it now needs to be reupholstered; over 49yrs old now.  Planned for next spring, hopefully.

My favorite thrift find was this table plus the 2 matching side tables for just $60!

  1. Thanks Tera. Sorry it took so long to answer; been having some health issues and trying to catch up. I wish it was still in that good a shape. I'm saving up to get it professionally reupholstered! It's about 40yrs old now and needs some love. : ) Thanks so much for stopping by.
