So we decided to go to Ross's and then she remember the little craft mall. You can see more of what they have to offer at there website here: NW Creations and Collectibles !
As you can see, its not really a large space but its packed with goodies. Wanna see some of my great scores . . .? Well, if you've been following me for awhile, you know I love most things blue and white. As you can see in the pic below from my Old Projects page, I love the combination of blue and white ceramics and china.
My favorite piece is this gorgeous clock I found at a yard sale years ago.
So you can imagine my excitement when we were walking the aisles of this small store and I glanced down a a shelf and saw these . . .
This vintage victorian style set has no chips. I love the details of the little table and tea set.Can you believe how well it goes with my clock!!! I was so afraid it would be too expensive, when I lifted one of the pieces, I turned the bottom to my friend to check the price! Yippeeee!!! Only $15.99! I immediately took all 3 pieces up to the counter and told them to start wrapping it, LOL!!! Imagine my joy when I was told that it was also 20% off!!! **doing happy dance** I wasn't taking any chances on one of those freak accidents when something gets chipped because I decided to carry it around until ready to pay. Yes, I am clumsy. -_^ Here they are all together . . .
Isn't it lovely and for only $12! If you've been following my bedroom makeover you can see this will fit in perfectly with my color scheme, as well as, for holding a weekly bouquet of roses from my garden.
The color is more a soft pearl white with aqua leaves and pink rosettes. And the weave pattern is stunning. It's really quite heavy also.
So there you are, my "treasures in a small space"! So what have you found or created lately? What do you think of my finds? By the way, I'm trying to think of the next rental design obstacle. Do you have any ideas? After all that's what this blog is about and I've really gotten caught up in my projects of late. Any of you renters with a design dilemna caused by rental regulations? I would love to interview you about how you've overcome the problems or you can just share your idea. Please leave it in the comments or send me an email. Have a great week everyone,
~Bee~
