WELCOME

WELCOME!

So . . ., you've finally found the perfect place, lots of storage, nice size rooms, all the extra amenities. But, then you're told "no painting and no making holes in the walls"! You feel all your decorating plans going out the window. What can you do to make the space your own.

Well don't despair. There are many ways to get around the restrictions and limitations and I am here to share the ways I've overcome them over the past 18yrs.

I hope you enjoy my tips and will also share your own. I'll also be sharing some of my on going projects. Once again . . .
WELCOME!!!

Frugal Treasures Tuesday #12

Hello Ladies,
Welcome to another lovely spring day.  I'm in the process of packing for a vacation so won't be around much for a few weeks.  Good news we are having the party this week!  But starting next week, the party will be postponed for a couple of weeks.  I will, however, post the features from this weeks party next Monday!  While on vacation I will send some pics of my shopping stops and frugal finds as well as the beautiful views of the state of Oregon!  I'll also let you know when my new grand-daughter is born with a quick pic! : )

So now on to the feature links from last weeks party.  Your favorite by number of clicks is a 3-way tie this week:
Kathy @ Sharing Shadymont for her great frugal scores.  I especially love this tablecloth!

Tricia @ Thoroughly Modern Me went to an "extravaganza" of sales and found this adorable child's oven among many other finds.

And Donna @ Distressed Donna Down Home gives details on makeover for this cute table.  You have to read how she acquired the table. lol

My favorite frugal treasure choice this week is Rosemary @ Villabarnes for her awesome collection of flea market finds.  This is only 2 examples, you should see what else she scored!

Peggy @ Crazy Thrifty Crafts found real treasure with this desk. The post is a must read, especially what she paid for the desk.  I need to shop with her!

I don't think many of you got to see this beautiful fabric wreath from Bonnie @ Simply This and That.  For some reason the photo in the link stopped showing.  I'm definitely making one of these. : )

Now on to the party.  A few quick instructions:
  • Keep it family friendly
  • Link to your actual post not your blog home page.
  • Link any of your thrifty finds, crafts, photos, or makeovers [No direct links to your etsy shops]
  • You can add up to 3 links to share
  • I'd appreciate if you'd become a follower and if you leave a comment I'll follow back.
  • PLEASE add my button or a text link in your post so others can find the party.
  • Try and visit a couple of the links.
Lets get this party started.

  1. Thanks, Barbe, for featuring my little less distressed table from last week. It is proudly wearing its feature button. (I wish I could figure out how to add your feature button to my sidebar!) I added two new posts today. I am happy to hear of your trip. I hope you score some delectable treasures. Happy Grandmothering with the new one - that's a very special treasure!
